2 Flamingos & a Pushy Duck

The Mingo* in the foreground is the baby and the one at the back was at an attempt to give some scale. The duck just wanted to be in the photograph and who am I to deny a duck seeking fame and fortune?

Was tempted to stay in bed today, I don't find rainy Mondays all that motivating and bed can be such a good place to be on rotten days. However, I put such nonsense thoughts to one side and went and learned me some more Java.

Yesterday's Song-In-German was Leonard Cohen's Last Year's Man and today's song should be slightly easier :-

* Mingo is soooooo good. Here's a copy of the reason why - As a kid JCD "associated flamingos with the state of Florida. At that time the states all had three letter abbreviations (Wisconsin - WIS, Florida - FLA) and she thought the birds were really called Mingos just with the "fla" tacked on because they were from Florida." I think that's just genius.
