Wood duck

Before going to the grocery store for my weekly shopping, I wandered around North Chagrin Reservation. I hadn't been there for a month or so, and I could really see the difference. Summer has turned into fall. Of course, I knew that, but it became really obvious this afternoon. No more water lilies, no butterflies, and only one dragonfly. I didn't see any herons, and the trees around the pond are showing their Autumn colors. I love Autumn; I just wish it wasn't the precursor to winter! Have a wonderful Sunday everyone!
