who i am...

...is what you see

am i a butterfly... or a moth...

i fly... i have wings to soar through the air - flitting here and there...

i don't know - once i started to stalk this little critter - what happened to me... i began to wonder if i was chasing down a butterfly or a simple moth... it looks like a butterfly - with its wings fully opened, a beautiful soft white with a dash of dark outlines them... but then it landed on this truly flourescent bush - so bright in the sunlight - and i began to think if it was really a moth... meant to fool me - how does one know? the bottom line i guess is that it doesn't really matter today... for i haven't captured either one in a very long time - none have stopped long enough for me to gaze upon it let alone raise my camera to snap a picture... get close to it. this one - seemed to sense i wanted a special shot of it - fluttered about, then settled on a leaf for me - almost posing... okay - perhaps i'm making that up but it sure appeared to be the case, for it didn't fly off as i got closer to it... held its ground with patience despite my stumbling - making for...
