...in the form of strawberry tarts (no, not me).
Lovely catch-up lunch at Dobbie's with friend S., who's had a bad time recently with a bout of pleurisy but on the mend now. The weather today was total pants, so blip choices were the many yummy cakes and icecreams on offer in the cafe.

Good news (I think) in the evening in the form of a phone call from the hospital ortho department, to say I'm finally on the waiting list for surgery to remove the troublesome screws from my "bionic" leg, subject to assessment of whether I can cope with the general anaesthetic. Should help me walk better but the prospect of more surgery is quite unsettling.
