Torch Twins

Of all the flowering cactus shots I've taken this month, this twin flower torch cactus may be my favorite.

I could have probably gotten a little sharper image with my Canon (instead of the Cool pix) but I couldn't find it! I'm amazed at it's beauty.

I had to get the shot at about 8:30 am while the winds were just a small gale. Now they've picked up to about 35 mph. I would never have been able to get any photos now. The temps have dropped into the 70's today so it's a bit refreshing. But my hair looks like the Cowardly Lion from the Wizard of Oz.
