La Fontaine à Chocolat Blanc

Today was the big party. Ten girls over, five are still here on a sleepover. I have to upload my blipfoto on the IPhone as they have bagsied the computer. The chocolate fountain went well, with advice from Lovepopcorn I melted the chocolate first and we added some oil to make it more liquidy.
The only thing was that the machine was bought from a shop called King Kong in France. This is a French equivalent of a pound shop and things might not be that well made. Well, our chocolate fountain sounded asthmatic. It turned over fine when empty but the minute the chocolate was added the poor wee mite couldn't cope and it sounded like steam train going up a hill. (bizarrely my dad has a record of this so I should know). During it's period of activity it would suddenly try really hard and it's wee motor would whirr faster and faster, then slowly but surely it would tire to the point of almost stopping.
It kept going though, twice, once with milk chocolate and the next with white chocolate. At least they ate loads of fruit as well.
