El Camino

Rainy Sunday

It's been steadily raining since the early hours of the morning, with the odd rumble of thunder thrown in. Temperature here in the countryside has plummeted at least 10 degrees.

Nipped out to get the papers and we check out the local 'rastro' (Sunday market).

Some serious 'recycling' going on, so was hard to get excited about most of it, but we bought some herbs from an organic grower (who had wonderful dark dreadlocks and clear blue eyes - I'm sure many of you would have plucked up courage to blip him, but I was too shy); and some star anise and manzanilla flowers from another stall, for tea.

Then a decent bottle of white from Cadiz province and some ham to keep us going till lunchtime :-)
