This is my niece, Sarah. She is absolutely class. Her and her sisters are brilliant and I love spending time with them. It's non-stop playing, laughing, questions, more laughing, baking, drawing, eating, more playing. I love it.

We left the boat first thing after giving it a good clean and tidy. The guy at the boat company office was great and told us to write to the head office to try and get another week's holiday out of them after our problems with the first boat. We will try and get something at least.

The drive back to Carrie's house was good fun as I was sat between Elizabeth and Sarah and we chatted the whole way home. Mum and dad were in with Marie-Claire and Caroline and Paddy in the front.

Once we got back, mum and dad left to go back to their house and I had a laugh with the girls. We had mussels for tea - with Marie-Claire (the youngest girl at 14 months) eating the majority of them!

We watched some telly (back to home comforts) and went to bed. Carrie had some fertilised eggs in the incubator (from her own hens and some rare breeds that she'd ordered) and they were about to hatch out. We were hoping to wake to find a couple of new wee chicks.
