There are so many street lights and a flashing belisha beacon that a yellow glow covered this corner of Essex Road just as the ref blew the final whistle. It left a lonely outsider still staring at the screen.

So fair play to City who deserved to win. Fergie's defensive team selection played for a draw. City are now in pole position but there's two games to go.

I'm a Gunner so didn't care about the result but it is an exciting title race now.
