Tiny Dancers

On my way back home today I stopped off in Downton, near Salisbury to enjoy the Cuckoo Fair. It's a popular event; the main street through the village was closed to traffic and given over to all kinds of things including bands (rock & brass) stalls selling anything & everything, residents in most of the cottages along the street taking advantage of the fair to have a clear out of their bric-a-brac. The village was heaving, with many people coming down from Salisbury for the fun & games.
There was Morris dancing and dancing around the maypole and a little parade. These little girls were on their way to the maypole. It was freezing cold but it didn't worry them - they were dressed for the dance and were the centre of attention so they were delighted, as you can see.
