it's all in the preparation

8:30pm and working on my notes for tomorrow morning's talk at KCC.

A couple of hours later and I seem to have more notes than I'd usually like to have in front of me. There's a lot to say, and hopefully a lot to encourage and engage people with. Most important is that the topic comes alive and people encounter God.

A good day at work, made progress on a fair few fronts and enjoyed a run at lunchtime *and* a well-paced cycle home.

Mrs theWeir is working nightshift tonight, so the usual challenge of actually going to sleep at a reasonable hour presented itself. Finished my notes and talking through them at half-past tomorrow, so early night didn't happen...

But it's important to be prepared.
