Shutter Painting

There is a lot of construction and activity going on in our neighborhood with all the new houses. People are crawling over and around houses, showing up at random times to do different jobs. This worker was staining the garage door and the shutters when I arrived home today.

The house was built by a different builder than ours. They bailed out of the neighborhood when the economy was slow. Our builder bought the house and is now converting it from a sales office to a normal home for the new buyer. They had to rip out an outside wall and the old offices in order to convert it to the garage it was intended to be.

There is a sewer pipe sticking straight up in the middle of the paved driveway that will be the next interesting project. A blip for another day.
