Glass rain

Rushed today - lots to do after being out for the last few days. Nice to get out even if it was work. By the time I'd got free though, the rain had started to pour and I was in the car on the way home. Was beginning to wonder where today's blip was.

Staring out the window with a mug of coffee in hand and looking for inspiration and I saw the bowl of coloured glass beads - looking like concentrated rain (think we've all seen enough recently). Tried a few angles to get a nice shape - I think this is the one. It shows off the various colours. The deep overcast conditions outside give an even light. Direct sunlight would have created too much constrast and difficult to expose.

Off to get drenched walking the dog now.
