Very grey lunchtime walk with Rob but we did pass some fresh beech leaves on the way back to the office. I like beech: its colours, robustness to pruning, and the soft feel of new leaves.

Cooked a stir-fry, watched Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy with J who missed it last time. Easier to follow the 2nd (or 3rd) time around...
