The Gazweasel Times

At least it's our home for the next week. In the tiny village of Liorac-sur-Louyre, not far from Bergerac. It's a converted pigeonnier and is gloriously secluded.

I think I should correct any misconceptions regarding my post from a few days ago of Fontevraud Abbey. The 'roller coaster' as I called it, is actually a sculpture which weaves its way around the cloister garden. It is meant to symbolise the almost constant meanderings of the nuns. Normally (well, when it's not raining) people can walk around it to, possibly, get the same sort of feeling but through the extra dimension of height. I just thought it looked like a roller coaster.
