Bomble prowling his terrain

When Helena got home from work, I was sitting in the doorway of the cabin hoping to get a picture, hopefully of the woodpecker having an upside down peck at the fat balls in a feeder hanging from the rhus tree a few yards away. Bomble then came to play outside accompanied by Illiam, his big kitten friend from next door.

I didn't catch the woodie, who has been visiting many times each day recently. But we both laughed as the two cats played by chasing and leaping on each other over and over again. In a lull in their antics, Bomble ran up the rhus and took control of his domain.

I had a few blips in mind, but Helena liked this shot best, with his tongue poking out, as it does when he gets excited. Hopefully I can follow Bomble's lead and be more adventurous tomorrow.
