A seasider's view

There should be sunshine after rain

I left work tonight hoping I might make it to Central before the rain set it. I lost that race - it was chucking it down as I launched myself into the station.

But looking out the window as we chuntered along to Kilwinning, the skies got less grey and rain beset, and by Lochwinnoch there were picture-perfect white fluffy clouds in a beautiful blue sky.

This is one of the local noisy gulls, perched on the chimney above my roof. It took me ages to work out exactly what the strange noise I kept hearing in my sitting room was - namely, the sound of a bird rocking one of those chimney pots!

What a clear sky - what a change....
