Corner Shop

I have stolen the idea of photographing local businesses from Roger Ellis who has blipped one where he lives here.

This corner shop is one of those that sells most things and seems to be open almost 24/7! Looking further down the terrace you can see a white window (just in front of the white car), it doesn't match the windows on the other houses, this used to be a sweet shop when I was a lad. The brick fronted shop with the black sign used to be a catering butcher but has now been smartened up and sells wedding dresses. The white building just visible on the extreme right used to be a pub but is now a vets!

I was a bit late blipping yesterday, a busy evening ending up out for a few drinks with our neighbours, we were using the beer tokens we got for winning the quiz at our local a couple of weeks ago. It's been a long time since I have been asked to leave a pub, we weren't being rowdy but we looked around and noticed that we were the last ones there and they wanted to lock up :)
