New Brood.

We took Rona for a stroll round Airthrey Loch at Stirling University. Plenty of rabbits, squirrels and assorted waterfowl running, hopping, paddling and swimming around. Oddly though, no ducklings in evidence. Could some very fat crows be a not very subtle clue?
We spotted a clutch of 8 cygnets on the water being shepherded by both watchful parents. We also found this rather nice little family nesting up just on the shore. The other parent gave us a nervous moment by charging full pelt right across the loch. See here.
