Freshly Baked Scones

Marie and I went grocery hunting this morning stalking the isles and shelves looking for that special price. We went for a walk down to Caroline Bay and up past Birketts Lighthouse and back home 9km in 1hour 16mins a very brisk walk. Marie used to work in the Family bakery in Invercargill one of the best around in its day. I was going to make a blip of the muffins on Friday but by the time I sampled some there was only crumbs left. Cheese Scones fresh out of the oven, we had these for lunch absolutely scrumptious. These were so good I bet rainey and katey could smell them from their place.
