Sedgwick falls

Spent the day rambling around one of my favourite walks along the River Kent just south of Kendal. Over 12 hours solid rain the previous day had put the town of Kendal on flood alert. The water was spanking down the falls at Sedgwick usually it's a good place to watch the autumn run of salmon leaping the falls but today the river was so high that they were just swimming over them. Saw five in about 10 minutes much to the annoyance of the local fisherman who couldn't fish because of the raging river.
