An Avid Lensman

Bath Abbey - Blue Hour

Bath - always a pleasure!

Even if it is on a soggy winter's afternoon, lugging a tripod around!

This is an 'aerial' view of the City, from one of the best viewpoints I know of (anywhere!) - Bathampton.

Left a quite fine Salisbury for dull and wet west country and so the blue hour and dusk were my only photo opportunities.

Lens is the lovely Tamron SP 70-300mm

How about this new, posh Blip, then? Looks clean and fresh but will take some getting used to.

Big and huge thanks for all the wonderful everything awarded and thrown at my starry oak trees in yesterday's. It's rather satisfying to have that at the very top of the Spotlights when Blip closed down last night. And with (seemingly) no Spotlights now, the last to ever grace the top spot.

Tis the Derelicto Challengo (the Italian version!) tomorrow, the last for 2014.
