A Dark Bird

I was pleased to see this caller to our garden this morning, but amazed how he seemed to change colour according to the light:-)  His feathers look very dark in this shot, but they were much lighter in others and even golden in some!

I'm starting to find my way around the new Blipfoto and have managed to find where to add Tags (which I'd missed for the first two on this new site!).  The new reduced photo size with the grey half border is much appreciated, but there are still a few tweaks to go to get it right:-)

What are your thoughts, now you've had a chance to look around?
