TOTALLY DERELICT

as it was dredged up from the pond.
In the morning we left for the lightrail and the other trains to bring us to our home in the Weser Uplands. A long journey and we were glad that we succeeded to make it to  all connections although with very short time and now and then a bit of stress.
It was dark when we reached our last station and when Piet Hein went uphill to catch our car Mischa and I did some shopping.
The whole day is was bleak and a drizzle came down some time.
But we are so happy to be here and we assured ourselves that a real holiday was well earned. Beginning tomorrow.
I want to thank https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/1992100725760462425 for the challenge of derelict objects.

My haiku:

Something derelict
Lying at the bottom now brought
Into light again

And the proverb:

Old pottage (porridge) is sooner heated than new made.

1670 Ray.  Old lovers fallen out are sooner reconciled than new loves begun.
