Friends, presents and Hockney!

After a morning getting sparkly nails etc for the season, as you do, I met up with friends for a late lunch at Salts Diner in Salts Mill, Saltaire.

We were greeted by Marita (centre) with these lovely wrapped parcels and place cards in the form of Lindt chocolate Santas!

Jackie ( left) and Dot ( right) were very close work colleagues of mine and we are now retired but Marita is still working so it is harder to meet up with her especially as she now lives and works in Leeds.

We had a great chat and lunch, I was the only one not to have large quantities of sticky toffee sauce!

As you can see we were accompanied by a couple of  David Hockney's pictures which are to be found all over this wonderful building in the World Heritage site of  Saltaire.

Feeling full now, a snooze might be in order!
