Dunkeld II

It was supposed to be a day walking round the Hermitage on the banks of the Braan, sadly it was far too icy underfoot. We could have done it, but would have spent all our time looking at our feet instead of the views and the wildlife.
We walked down by the Tay instead, from the hotel into Dunkeld toon, itself. A bonny wee place, all the buildings were constructed at the end of the 17th century after the original town was burnt to the ground by government forces after the Jacobites ran away.
