Making sushi

Our bathrooms are in need of renovating and since the leak we have decided to get them all re-modelled, so Gavin and I spent the morning at the bathroom shop discussing options and fittings. We had quotes during the week so now they have to be fine tuned and if all looks okay they will start in January, which means a huge amount of mess for a few months.

When we got home Luke had already cooked the sticky rice in preparation to make sushi for lunch. It was great fun making it and I think it turned out rather well, considering none of us have been on a course - not quite up to professional standards but most delicious all the same. We made Californian rolls and Nigiri and they disappeared faster than we could make them!

We have been out for the past two nights so tonight,  a lovely quiet evening in front of the TV beckons.
