Whitby

By way of a birthday treat we managed a trip to Whitby. Sunny in this photo, then cloudy and then sunny again as we left. It's been bitterly cold though with a very strong north easterly breeze off the north sea. I've been warmer in the middle of winter!

I took photos in the Abbey but couldn't choose - so this bright and cheerful image is today's blip.

We were just walking up the Abbey steps when I received a phone call from my dad to say he could come home! My brother went for him as soon as we got back to mum & dads house - he should be home now.

... and the flooring has gone down in the two bedrooms today - great! But no electrician!!!

Time for my bed - it's been a pretty tiring day.
