Solstice

So often I forget to go to a stone circle at the solstice but blip reminded me this time. Now, on a clear day, I would like to have caught the sun at the moment of rising and illuminating it. However, on looking out first thing I knew we were in for a wet, overcast visit.

Undeterred, Jerra, katkatkat and I went out to catch the light. So, here it is. Castlerigg stone circle, or part of it. We were lucky to get it to ourselves for a while.
