Away in a Manger

On Sunday our church's J Team (what we call our Sunday School) led part of the worship with their take on the Nativity Story. As always it was great to hear the Christmas story told and acted by the younger members of our church family, and there was barely a dry eye in the house.

Away from the constant noise and bustle and commercial pressure of the adverts and the shops, it was wonderful to just sit for a few moments in peace and take in the Christmas story, told simply and joyfully. I'm ready for Christmas now.
