Evening sky

Sunday
We finally made it across to England and up to Roger's sister's near Warrington about 7 pm yesterday evening, after sitting in the car in Calais for about 2 1/2 hours waiting to go through the tunnel, due to some problem with customs! We'd had a good run up to Calais, with Laura driving most of the way - she was keen to get back to driving, having done none for the last 2. 1/4 years in Macedonia! Fortunately, our luck held this side of the Channel as well, with few delays. However, it made it a rather late evening meal, so Roger's parents had already eaten, but they did come round to say hello, and watched us eat!
This morning we were all at church for a traditional carol service, then as usual Janet and John cooked us a lovely Sunday roast. It was late afternoon, and the light was fading by the time Roger, Laura and I got out for a walk, but I did get a few nice shots of the evening sky.
