Black-Hearted Ladybird

The elevenspotted ladybirds have begun to appear in small numbers. Their twospotted counterparts have been around for several weeks. I like the big heart-shaped spot they have in front. The Angelica flowers are finished and now the much smaller parsley flowers are attracting the nectar eating insects and their predators.
