Auntie C

Yay! Santa's been! The surprise was that it was +1/3 that was up first (at 2am) for a stealth stocking rummage followed by +2/3 when we got up at 6:30 and we had to wake +3/3.

A change from previous years (does -1 year still work?) as we normally have both sets of parents and my sister. Being far flung this year it was just the five of us but it was good none the less including the massive 18lbs turkey. Can't quite get enough of the stuff...

Santa was very good all round including to me (see EXIF - and why oh why do you have to hunt for that now?) which means that +1/3 has of course set his sights on the K-r.

Santa also brought an Anna and Elsa - if you don't know who these characters might be then you don't have young children, and be thankful - that sing. We've had the entire day filled with the same two snippets of song sung over and over...

As we didn't have the grandparents to stay it was facetime all round this morning. Auntie C in the starring role being shown the many many presents.

Music for today was mainly classical courtesy of R3: Mendelssohn's String Octet was playing at one point around lunchtime - one of those staple classics that is absolutely brilliant.

Merry Christmas all!
