Christmas Cake...

For 20+ years we've had a family tradition of a ski-slope Christmas cake, decorated by our sons using "Playmobil" characters. Usually we still manage to have at least 2 of our 3 sons here at Christmas; this year we've had the eldest (age 30) and the youngest (22) here with us, so they did the decorating this year.

There is always a story behind the decoration but it doesn't often bear much resemblance to Christmas.

If any blipfriends wish to come up with a suitable story this year from this picture, then please add your suggestion in the comments. I'll add one of our interpretations tomorrow!

PS added 28 December: Thanks to Lightfantastic (comment below) for the super story idea! I think it's probably better than the original which our lads came up with. They reckoned that Santa was transporting some gold (presumably to pay for toys or raw materials) and some kids had tried to steal it. Behind him is a girl trying to make off with some of the gold on a sledge. Santa had attacked one of the miscreants and used a shovel to bury him in the snow (you can see the kid's wellies sticking out, and his teddy bear lying there). For some reason the robot does not seem to feature in the story except as an innocent bystander but the skier behind the robot is probably a policeman sent to sort things out. A random little grey alien is watching from the right of the picture. (I sometimes fear for the sanity of my offspring...and no, they hadn't been drinking or partaking of any other psychoactive substances!!!)
