Truly Blippin' Marvelous

By JohnEdward

What's this a blip of

then? What's the subject? What were you photographing? What motivated you to point the lens in that direction?

Have I joined the Grey Revolution? Hardly.

I liken the change in Blipfoto as a large family moving house. The interior of the new house was painted white because because nobody likes how previous tenants may have decorated the walls. Toys and nick-knacks are all boxed up and something always gets mislaid in a move. The rooms of the new house are all different and the layout has to be learned to find one's way around. We miss the old house. But soon the unpacking starts and the new rooms will be repainted how we like them . . . Some toys we'll find we've out-grown some nick-knacks are broken in the move or missing . . .

The kitchen (forums) needs new appliances; the living-room (where our journals are kept) needs neutrally coloured walls. The views from the conservatory remain remarkably good and the plants thrive even if some do look a little grey. Even our bedrooms (Blipfolio) remain reassuringly familiar . . . the central heating needs a little work though; the house is a little cold at this time of year.

Have a good Boxing Day one and all . . .
