Porty People and Places

Ever wondered what happened to Santa on 26th December - Boxing Day in the UK.

Well now you know - on his ATC approved route home to the Arctic Circle he ran out of puff over Joppa and collapsed in a heap having delivered his last presents.

Don't worry. The Santa Air Services are onto it and, as you can see, are abseiling down the front of this house in Joppa to rescue Santa before anyone blipped him. I am sworn to secrecy - and with my new Blip viewing figures having dwindled away - no one else will ever know how close a call Santa had here on Christmas night!

On a much more serious note, the tenth anniversary of the southern Asian Tsunami is in many minds today. Our walk, inland from the sea, today, would have been scenes of total devastation had the same strength of  Tsunami spread up The Firth of Forth.

Family gathering at our house this evening - the party season continues!
