Went into town to check C's foot size before buying her character shoes. They are very much only just a two still. Phew I thought. Will wanted his feet checked too, go on then, let's humour him or I thought. He had only just gone into a ten in September. How wrong was I? £51 later he had new school shoes, but I also got a pair of sketcher trainers for him for £5 so shouldn't complain.

With her pocket money Carys bought some Sylvannian furniture for her doll's house in the Hawkins sale. Will bought the First Adventures of Paddington from Waterstones, topical considering Monday's plans. I nipped into Next and got Carys's winter coat for next year along with some shorts which will do summer or winter and a pair of shoes for Will for when he hits size 12. Then finally in Dance we got what we went in for originally, the character shoes. They haven't been off her feet since we came home.

After thank you's we had a mad Skype with Vive la Vie and now we are almost ready for bed.
