Muttley's Musings

Frosty Star

It seemed frostier this morning than the previous day. I nipped out to Fairburn Ings again this morning while Mum and Dad were getting ready for an afternoon out. I went straight to the Kingfisher screen again, and eventually the Kingfisher appeared, complete with fish, sadly he was further along the stream than yesterdays appearance, so the photographs aren't the best.

I took a walk around the reserve and saw a nice pair of male and female Bulfinches and a Willow Tit, but I decided to go for this delicate frosty star in the hedgerow to avoid blipping too many birds as we are planning to go to another reserve tomorrow which has a lot of Bearded Tits and Marsh and Hen Harriers.

We went out for a Fish and Chip lunch and ended up buying Mum and early Birthday present in the sales, so quite a successful day.
