Life through the lens...

By ValC

Please keep still!

Our little grey wagtail is back.
A good shot is very difficult!
I certainly know where the name comes from! That tail never keeps still.
We still have snow. Not melted much, although it has been sunny all day.
We called to see Tom this morning. No chrysanthamums left.
He hadn't had a good Christmas, although he was laughing about it when he told us,
His friend was ill so he had to spend Christmas at home on his own.
TV had broken down twice, and his mobile phone had broken too.
Instead of being down in the dumps, and miserable, he could laugh about it.
I just hope I can always look on the bright side when I am his age!
He was looking forward to planting his tomato seeds in the new year.
Keeping his fingers crossed we wouldn't have any strong wind, as he still hadn't finished repairing the damage done to the greenhouses from the last storms earlier this year.
After visiting Tom, we always come away smiling!
The rest of the day was spent cooking again, for our youngest son and family who came round for a meal tonight.
After second and third helpings, they left us a bit of ham for tomorrow's tea! Everything else gone!!
May take it easy tomorrow!

Thank you for all the comments and stars over the last few days.
I am finding it more difficult to reply  and comment to everyone at the moment, especially since the new Blip format.
