Blue Heron At Bethany Lake

Getting ready to head north, but took a bit of time to check out Bethany Lake today, and found a blue heron that just looked "ready to fly", and indeed within about 5 minutes, he took off and did a big fly by of the lake right in front of me.  I thought that was mighty kind of him to give me my blip:)

It's cold and windy today, but absolutely beautiful blue skies!  The weather outlook is for more of the same.  As we close out the year, I'm having fun looking back at all of the good times we've had this year, and I'm so glad that I have daily photographs to remind me of all of them.
