Nicky and her Nikon

St Jakob Reformed Church

This church dates back to the 13th century, and in the snow it makes a pretty scene. It has been snowing heavily since we left the ski slopes yesterday, and it is quite tricky finding anything else to photograph in these conditions.

Another day spent indoors with no skiing, watching the snow falling outside. This afternoon I met a friend for coffee and walking back to the apartment afterwards was very tricky, as the snow ploughs cannot keep up with the falling snow - while the roads are constantly cleared the pavements are not. They certainly have had plenty of snow in the last few days. The village is full of people walking around and children sledging down slopes, I think the ski slopes are quite empty in these conditions. It is even too snowy to skate or play ice hockey at the village sports centre.

Hoping for an improvement in the weather tomorrow so we can get out and ski again.
