Lauerens Church ...

The Laurens Church in the center of Rotterdam. This church is one of the few buildings that survived the bombing of Rotterdam-Centre during WWII.

A debate is now going on if time is there to provide the church with a steeple again. For that was the case in the past.

But after a research the plan was again "put in the fridge." (a literal translation from Dutch proverb. A plan is rejected but not discarded.) The opinion is preliminary, that the image of the building that has gone into its present state of the world, must not be altered ... ;)
