Frosty leaves

There's frost on the leaves,
They didn't thaw much all day;
But, better than snow!


I have little doubt that were I still a child, snow would be very welcome. But, as an adult ( I won't say grown-up, we all know I'm still a big kid!) with vertigo, the very thought is terrifying! 

Stella and I had a frosty walkies to the pet shop and back. Some icy bits, some melted bits, some muddy bits, several slippery bits but we both stayed upright and made it there and back with only red cheeks and wet paws to show for it :)
