Mother and daughter marmots

The Swiss Ice Saints have produced a winter landscape again, so beautiful I had to leave early to continue my quest for Tetra Lyre - no chance, heard but not seen! I saw many distant rabbits and chamoix and had a terrific walk in the majestic silence of the prealps, no one else around. And there, on the same rock, but approaching it from a different angle, was my previous marmot with one of her youngsters I think. She is so kind to the cause of blip. I had a much closer encounter with another one later, head popping out of his hole. Choosing one photo is very difficult sometimes.
