Today's the day ......................... to bring in the New Year

We're in a wonderful place to bring in the New Year.

This is because it is the house of our good friends, John and Roma, and they know how to do it properly.  The other thing is that in the kitchen here - there is a shiny bright, green Aga cooker.  We've enjoyed many a delicious meal produced by that masterpiece of oven technology.

And now, there has been a new addition to the family - an exquisitely green, Aga-shaped teapot, complete with its own pots, pans and t-towel. 

So from this centre of excellence - can I wish you a very Happy New Year when it comes?  Or if you've already got there, may it continue to bring you all health and happiness in 2015 .......................
