late afternoon sky

Photographed at Beauguillot bird reserve, just south of Utah Beach in Normandy.  Used photo bracketing to maximise my chance of capturing the scene adequately.

The pyrotechnics in the sky were magnificent to watch, this photo is but a pale imitation of nature.
