preparing the nets..........

arrived in Nkhotakota early afternoon.... a beautiful day, blue skies, hot sun and unfortunately many people around!!  Watched these fishermen preparing their nets to go out fishing later in the evening.  The nets are mosquito nets (which were given free by some charitable organisation no doubt to help prevent malaria) sewn together to make one big net!  They catch small fish called Usipa with these nets - similar to sardines!  Of course, being at the lake, I had to have fish for dinner too.........
