New Year treat

Lobster again! The second such indulgent meal in a week!
Well we couldn't have had a better Christmas Day surprise than fresh lobster from Dorset waters, but when I saw frozen Canadian lobster in my local supermarket yesterday for a fiver each . . . Well it would have been foolish to resist!
So lobster Thermidor it was, if only to add flavour to frozen lobster. I have prepared it only once before, but it is straightforward enough and my memory didn't let me down. Didn't have parsley or Parmesan which I might have used, but we made do.
So for the rest of the year, I guess it will be back to more usual fare, starting tomorrow.
Egg and chips, perhaps!
