Tickley Toes

Spent Hogmany at a party in the village pub and discovered people in this village know how to party! Was a fabby night and has to rate up there as one of the best!
Had planned to see our grown up kids, their partners and children later today. Knowing we may be a bit worse for wear, we had intended to get some carry out Indian or Chinese food to eat together.
Not sure if it was the copious amount of gin drinking I did, but I couldn't bear to think about carry out food when I eventually surfaced, never mind eat it. So I braved the hangover and produced a scrumptious vegetarian lasagne and a minced beef lasagne, and all the trimmings. Seemed to go down well with the family. Not the usual New Years Day dinner but worked just fine for us.
After eating we had a lovely evening together and these two wee ones were in hysterics over tickly feet. Loads of toys and gifts to play with but making their own entertainment seemed to be much more fun.
That's a year over and one I'm quite glad to see the back of in some respects but was also joyful in so many ways.
Sending all my fellow blippers best wishes for a healthy and happy 2015. :-)
