Happy New Year

A rather quiet evening with nothing worth watching on TV, we recorded the ball drop in NY at 11pm our time, so we could play it at 12 - I never can figure out why there is not a time appropriate showing for each area?
Mr Tex had already gone to bed but we sneaked in and pulled party poppers to make sure he was aware that it was midnight :0) And we popped the cork on our bottle of bubbly, which rocketed off into the hallway and still hasn't been found.
The kids enjoyed making lots of noise and had a large glass of fizzy grape juice each. They finally calmed down enough to head off to bed about 1am.
We all got up quite late and watched a documentary about ocean pollution - exciting bunch aren't we? LOL Then Mr Tex suddenly announced that we were going to rip up the tiles on the kitchen floor, which I'v been begging to do for ages, so that's what we did. No1 son enjoyed helping with the smashing and pulling up of tiles, while No2 son and littleman helped me put it all into big buckets which we pulled out to the trash in the wagon https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2309871 many, many trips later and the floor is cleared. Everything else is covered in dust, but the floor is cleared :0) Laundry room tomorrow, then we get to shop for new tiles - Happy Me!

ps. I can't seem to find the add a link button still, Im sure it's staring me in the face as I type :0) so I just pasted in a link to the blip that had a wagon in it.
